As the days grow warmer and the grass turns a vibrant green, I can’t help but feel the excitement of summer just around the corner. There’s nothing quite like embracing the great outdoors and making the most of York County’s incredible recreational opportunities. Lately, I’ve been trying my hand at pickleball—though I have to admit, I might just be the worst player in Nebraska! But whether you’re a seasoned pro or prefer other ways to stay active, there’s no shortage of adventures waiting to be discovered.
We’re thrilled to introduce the brand-new York County, NE app, a project from the York County Visitors Bureau designed to make discovering our community easier than ever. With just a few taps, you’ll find everything our wonderful area has to offer, conveniently organized into four categories: Eat, Shop, Play, and Stay. Plus, we’ve created the York County Passport, a fun way to become a tourist in your own community! Visit local businesses, attractions, and hidden gems while collecting stamps along the way. We can’t wait for you to check out the app (available for iOS and Android), and we’d love to hear your feedback. See you out and about, enjoying all that York County has to offer!
