It’s the Holiday Season!

Dec 14 Heart of the Holiday

Downtown York is just under two weeks away from celebrating Heart of the Holidays! On December 14, the streets will be filled with festive activities, family fun, and community cheer. As the sun sets, the magic continues with the Light Parade at 5:30 p.m. Best of all, activities are free, making it the perfect, stress-free way to enjoy the season with family and friends. 
The Heart of the Holidays festival lineup includes: ice Skating Fun, trackless train rides, s’moresville, horse drawn carriage rides, frosted cookies, letters to Santa, and games.
With festive lights, holiday treats, and joyful energy around every corner, Heart of the Holidays is the perfect way to celebrate the season in York. 

Christmas on the Farm
Wessels Living History Farm | Multiple Days
Step back in time for a charming holiday experience at Wessels Living History Farm. Explore the farmhouse, church, and schoolhouse; enjoy refreshments; craft ornaments; play games; go on a scavenger hunt; and shop locally made gifts in the Mercantile. Join us for our special events including Santa and Mrs. Claus December 13 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and a candle light church service December 14th at 7:00 pm. Open Dates: Dec 4–7, 11–14, 18–21, 27 & 28. Hours: Thurs., Fri., Sun. 1:00 to 5:00 pm | Sat. 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (Open until 7 p.m. on Dec 14).

Get a soup supper for $10 including soup, dessert, and drink. Tickets are available from any Sunrise Sertoma member or at Charlie’s U Save Pharmacy.

Dec 5: Music from Around the World
York Area Senior Center | 12:00 to 1:00 pm
With over a dozen instruments and stories about each, David Marsh entertains with music from around the world. This multicultural program highlights the influence of global cultures on American music.

Dec 7: These are the Grains of Our Lives

Join us for this original, locally inspired radio drama, where the prairie meets pure comedy. Co-hosted by Nebraska’s Rural Radio Association. Broadcast live on Kool Radio (103.5) and filmed for online viewing.
