Growing up I always used to say to my parents, “There is nothing to do here” and I could not have been more wrong. Gearing up for the holidays we have so many fun activities and events! Mark your Calendars: Christmas on the Farm Come help us celebrate Christmas on the Farm at Wessels Living History Farm in December! We will be open 10am-4pm Thursday-Saturday and Sunday from 1pm-4pm during the month of December (with the exception of Thursday December 26th). The Mercantile will host a Christmas Market every Saturday during the month of December from 10am-1pm! On Sunday, December 15th, the Off the Wall Dulcimer Players will be performing Christmas Carols for a free will donation to their band! Regular admission prices to tour the Farm; $7 Adults; $5 Seniors and Students. Dec 15 Heart of the Holiday Events from 1 to 5 pm include: free ice-skating rink, smoresville, Christmas bingo at 1:30, Christmas Star Wars cast, 360 photo booth, horse drawn carriages, live reindeer, food trucks, Santa in a firetruck, and the Light Parade starting at 5:30! If you are attending the event please consider bringing toiletries, canned food, or toys to donate benefiting Blue Valley Community Action! Santa Hut Hours Get ready to visit Santa at his hut at Kilgore Memorial Library (520 N Nebraska Ave) this December!
