Harvest
Fall is officially here and we cannot wait to celebrate the season! Harvest is in full swing, costumes are being curated, and our communities are buzzing with all thing’s autumn. From football and fall festivals to cozy coffee shop stops and local shopping, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this time of year. Whether you’re soaking in the colors of the season or planning your Halloween weekend, there’s no better time to explore all that York County has to offer.

Celebrate the colors of fall with festive plants, pumpkins, and décor.
Oct 9: Health Fair
York City Auditorium | 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
Visit with local health vendors, enjoy raffle prizes, food trucks, and simple lab screenings by York General.
Oct 9, 10, & 12: Yorkshire Playhouse Presents “The Crazy Quilt Club”
Yorkshire Playhouse | Start Time 7:30 pm or 2:00 pm
A laugh-filled, family-friendly show—perfect for date night or a girls’ outing!

Oct 10: York ClayBusters Cosmic Fundraiser Shoot

Includes raffle, trap shoot, and prizes. $30 entry; proceeds benefit the Youth Trap Team.

Oct 11: York Area Car Cruisers Road Rally

All vehicles welcome! $20 entry for this poker-run style rally.
Oct 11: Tailgate Party
York Elks Lodge | 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Join the Elks for food, drinks, and football, open to the public. Please have your ID ready at the gate.
Oct 12: Boo on the Farm
Wessel’s Living History Farm | 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Trick-or-treat around the farm, play games, enjoy wagon rides, and concessions. Costumes encouraged!

Celebrate a century with food, drinks, and fun.
Oct 19: 20th Annual October Czechfest
Holthus Convention Center | 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
Opening Ceremony and Queen Introductions start at 11 a.m. Authentic Czech dinners served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Wilber Senior Czech Dancers at 1 with the Wilber/Clatonia Alumni Band following. From 2-5 p.m. Angie Kriz and the Polkatoons will be providing dance music.  Plenty of kids activities, food and other activities for the whole family.  Come Czech us Out!
