York Area Children's Museum
Located Inside the York City Auditorium (South Hallway) 612 Nebraska Avenue York, NE 68467 Since it was established in 1999, the York Area Children’s Museum’s mission has been to provide a safe, imaginative and affordable play opportunity for the youngest residents of our community, and many countless visitors. Because the museum is operated solely by volunteers, we have been able to keep our admission fee the low price of $1 per person, for the entire time it has been open. Other funding is generated by birthday party rentals, donations, grants, and foundation gifts. For any questions or to book YACM for your next event, please email us at [email protected], or please submit your request via the 'contact us' tab on our website at yorkareachildrensmuseum.org. We’d be happy to assist and have you come visit us at the York Area Children’s Museum! Thanks to numerous private donors, York County Visitors Bureau, York County Commissioners, York Community Foundation, and POET Bioprocessing, York Area Children’s Museum is elated to announce that we will have wheelchair accessibility into our facility by the end of 2022! YACM will be accessible for all by the much needed addition of an inclined platform wheelchair lift. Admission: The admission fee at YACM is just $1 per person. Cash or check are only accepted. No change is available on site. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Hours: Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9am-Noon. (Always check the calendar on the website.) |
