Wessels Living History Farm
The complex features a 1920’s period appropriate house with fixtures and furnishings that would be representative of a prosperous farm. The out buildings like the barn and granary give you an idea of what life was like on farms in the early 20th century.

Peyton Parker Lane Playground
An all-inclusive playground located in Mincks Park, near the York Family Aquatic Center and York Ballpark Complex. Opening in 2023, this playground was designed to be utilized by anyone and everyone, regardless of abilities.

Since it was established in 1999, the York Area Children’s Museum’s mission has been to provide a safe, imaginative and affordable play opportunity for the youngest residents of our community, and many countless visitors.

KIRK PATRICK NORTH WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT BASIN
One miles west of York
Part of the rainwater basin, this wetland serves as the home to the annual duck and geese migration. Thousands of ducks and geese can be seen in this area during the months of March, April and May as they return north for the summer.
